What is an open-frame diesel generator set?
1.Definition
Open-frame diesel generator set is a common power generation equipment. It is mainly composed of diesel engine, generator, control screen and chassis. Compared with other types of generator sets, the main components such as the engine and generator are open-mounted on a simple frame (chassis) without a closed shell, which is also the origin of the "open frame" name.
2.Design feature
Diesel engine: is the power source of the generator set, generally for the high-speed diesel engine, through the combustion of diesel oil to generate power, drive the generator to generate electricity. 3. Operational principle
When the diesel engine is started, the crankshaft rotation drives the rotor of the generator, making the stator winding of the generator cut the magnetic line of the rotor magnetic field, thus generating the induced electromotive force in the stator winding. If the external circuit is closed, there will be a current output. According to the law of electromagnetic induction (which is the induction electromotive force, the strength of the magnetic field, the length of the wire, the movement speed of the wire, and the Angle between the movement direction and the magnetic field direction), the power generation process of the generator can be understood.
